At The EJYC Point Beyond Peer Empowerment Program, I am the Program Manager of Lusby location’s Main Campus. I am a Military Navy Veteran with a background in both Counseling and Education.  I earned my undergraduate degree in Psychology and my master's degree in the Field of Education.  

 

 As a program manager, I set up and design programs and activities which guide young people through some of the most challenging years in their life. The reasons for these activities are to help youth build confidence and develop strategies to overcome life's obstacles. I place significant importance on helping our youth develop a good foundation to become productive citizens in our ever-changing world.  

 

As a youth program manager, I am the first person who contacts the parents and guardians and welcomes their youth into our program. I assist with creating new and engaging materials for workshops and aid and advice to peer support when needed. 

 

 As a youth member of our Youth Empowerment Program, I want your youth to feel safe, supported and inspired. I want them to be comfortable asking questions and eager to learn new exciting skills and opportunities.
